Road Directions

From the A1 and the NORTH, come toward York on the A59. Once you are in the built up area of York, Holmwood House is on the left, about 400 yards past the traffic lights at THE FOX pub.

Coming from the M1 or A1 from the SOUTH, take the A64 in the York and Scarborough direction.
From the A64, take the York West Exit (A1036) and follow the signs to the City Centre.
Pass large open space with white railings on your right and then go LEFT at the next traffic lights, sign posted to the A59 Harrogate and Thirsk.
At the 'T' junction go left and go over an iron bridge.
Holmwood House is 75 yards further, on the right,
in the middle of an old Victorian terrace of houses and hotels

Accessibility

By Rail: York is only 2 hours from London and 2.5 hours from Edinburgh and we are 15 minutes walk from the station, or a SHORT, CHEAP TAXI RIDE, costing around £2.50 - £3.00.
There is a DIRECT rail service from Manchester Airport to York lasting about 2 hours!

By Road: Holmwood House is situated on the A59, giving access to the arterial roads, and the A1 and M1, ideal not only for businessmen but for those who wish to explore the surrounding countryside.

By Air: London Heathrow/Gatwick then by rail (via London Kings Cross station) or road to York
Manchester Airport then by DIRECT 2 hour rail link from the airport to York.
